I think it looks awesome, I love the song they picked for the trailer, I'll def be going to see this.
I don't know. It looks like a beautiful enough movie. I'll still see it but I'm not sure it should have been made. I'll also check out the novelization by Dave Eggers.
This movie looks like it could be good. I think I fall somewhere in the middle though. :)
My daughter makes me read this story to her every night... she basically sits there and can go through it with me (although she can't read - she's 3)... but I think the movie might be too scary for her. I love the it looks - just like the book. I think I might go see it first and then decide whether to take her or not.

I love their names!
I'm not too worried. It's been decades since I read the book, so I don't remember much beyond the basic premise. If the movie has a decent story, it'll probably be okay.
EEEEK! Judith looks AWESOME!
Loved your comment today... made me smile! I love his work, I would love to have him take some pictures of my dogs in my garden...oh to dream...
I'm a little bit of both. I can't wait to see it, but I'm hoping it doesn't ruin any childhood memories! I've heard the soundtrack is going to be amazing...so that's something
I'm really excited to see this movie!
P.s. JuJu, pretty soon you'll see a couple reviews for some books you recommended. I'm super excited about starting them, too! Thanks!
Awesome! =P
I am both excited and trepidatious. I think it the visuals look great, but I'm afraid of where the plot will go. I don't like that the wild things have names. They're wild things. Why do they need human names?
I hadn't thought of that Jazz. Excellent point!
Ahhh thanks Krista. I hope you love them.
I'm a bit nervous about this too. I don't like the idea of naming them at all. I love the book and read it to my little guys all the time :)
Ops, wrong profile...
Please ignore the above!!
I'm intrigued..., never heard of the film before. The name thing is interesting..., people do it all the time, give human names to "animals", not my thing, but hey we're all free, right! Your A to D list made my day, dear Juju!!
I'm excited! I loved this book and hope the do a good job!
I am SO EXCITED about this. This was one of my favorite books as a kid (beaten only by the Velveteen Rabbit). I was wondering how well they would capture Sendak's style, but it looks amazing.
