Mr. Mailman: Gateway

Mr. Mailman is a relatively new Tales of Whimsy feature. Periodically when there is a book in route I am anxiously hoping to find when I get home in my mailbox - I will feature Mr. Mailman.

Oh Mr. Mailman! Please do bring me Gateway today!

Product description:
"As a Chinese adoptee in St. Louis, teenage Daiyu often feels out of place. When an elderly Asian jewelry seller at a street fair shows her a black jade ring—and tells her that "black jade" translates to "Daiyu"—she buys it as a talisman of her heritage. But it’s more than that; it's magic. It takes Daiyu through a gateway into a version of St. Louis much like 19th century China. Almost immediately she is recruited as a spy, which means hours of training in manners and niceties and sleight of hand. It also means stealing time to be with handsome Kalen, who is in on the plan. There's only one problem. Once her task is done, she must go back to St. Louis and leave him behind forever..."

Mr. Mailman is a hybrid of Waiting on Wednesday by Breaking the Spine and In My Mailbox by the Story Siren. Please feel free to grab the logo and feature your Mr. Mailman request on your site. Please leave a link to your Mr. Mailman request in the comments.

I adore the cover of this book. In fact, I'll probably pick it up without reading the synopsis based just on the cover haha.

Hi Juju this is the last day for my contest and I wanted to let you know that only one of the teasers is mine. Please choose one or I won't know how to enter you. Good luck!

Thanks juju, I had that table made many years ago. For a family of 4 no one could understand me giving up all my space for a table that would seat 10, but I love it and would not change it for anything. You would not believe how much of the time it is full...Merry Christmas!

I hope you get it soon! I sent it to you last Saturday. Please excuse the envelope I used. I was too cheap to buy a new one and reused an envelope instead. Hehe. But I have stocked up on envelopes now!
