The Day I Shot Cupid | Book Review Mini

Book: The Day I Shot Cupid: Hello, My Name is Jennifer Love Hewitt and I'm a Love-aholic
Length: 208 (Hardcover)
Publisher: Voice
Released: 3/23/2010
Genre: Non-fiction, Adult, Dating, Love, Sex, & Romance, Self-help, Humor

The Day I Shot Cupid was just what I expected and so much more. It is charming, honest, zany, and real. Jennifer Love Hewitt draws for her many years of dating experience to teach (or remind) her readers how to tackle the game of love with grace and humor. Expect adorable sassy graphics, short light chapters, great tips (on everything from cellulite to feelings of worthlessness), and a quirky jovial tone. The Day I Shot Cupid is even peppered with some man-truths and celebrity quotes, married women can giggle and learn from.

Kiddie-o-meter: While it is never vulgar, The Day I Shot Cupid is definitely geared to unmarried women 25+ so expect plenty of sexual frankness and the occasional curse word.

My star rating: 5 out of 5 stars; This book is pure fun. I want a copy for my coffee table and single cousin.

My final say:
  • After reading this, I now admire and respect spunky JLH so much more. Think she will agree to be my B.F.F.?
  • Miss JLH will be on the Rachel Ray Show tomorrow (4/2/2010). Makes me want to call in late to work!

Ok JLH...if you ever read this you have to be me AND Stacy's BFF ;)

I do Hulu. If it wasn't for Hulu I would never catch up on my Castle episodes. I'm sort of obsessed with Castle.
