"Every speaker - on the computers, on the cell phones, on the iPods, on the radios, on the telephones, on the brand-new Sony flat screen with THX surround sound and every other TV set in the house, even on the "intelligent" microwave - began to blast a dance song from a popular old movie. A song that just happened to be the favorite of a very powerful alien."Sounds good, right? Wish me luck...this is my first James Patterson ever!

I've been curious about this book. Thanks for sharing a teaser! :) Here's mine for City of Dreams & Nightmare.
ReplyDeleteLet us know how it goes. I haven't read any Patterson yet either.

ReplyDeleteLove Patterson's Daniel X!Nice teaser Juju.. *wink2*
ReplyDeleteLove this look with all the separate boxes, each post, and the sidebars. I have that a little bit at my blog Daily Vitamin Sea. It just comes off so organized.

good luck! I still haven't read a single James Patterson. I've been meaning to, but then it just keeps getting pushed back over and over again.
ReplyDeletePlease, don't wait another minute! Find one now and sit down and start reading!!
DeleteJust by that short excerpt, you had me, and I haven't read anything by him either. I just haven't gotten around to it and I'm not always a huge fan of action adventure type novels. But this one already sounds good, can't wait to hear what you think!
ReplyDeleteOooh.. that is a really good teaser!!
ReplyDeleteSounds quite different than his usual. I hope you are enjoying the book. My TT is here
ReplyDeleteNice teaser :)
ReplyDeletehaha thats a great teaser! Very unique, too! :)
ReplyDeleteThe first James Patterson I've ever read was Witch And Wizard and that must have been like his worst book ever. I kind of shied away from James Patterson since then. I hope this one is a better book than that so that this will be a good reading experience for you...
ReplyDeleteGoodluck Ju!
Oooo, good one! I have only read one James Patterson book "King Tut". I look forward to reading your review!
ReplyDelete:0)
I haven't read that many James Patterson books either, but his Maximum Ride series was pretty decent. The teens at the library seem to really enjoy both Maximum Ride and Daniel X.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any Patterson, either.
ReplyDeleteThis one sounds spooky!
Whoa this is an awesome teaser! I've never heard of this before, I can't wait for your review.
ReplyDeleteBtw I'm loving the new layout! :)
I've never read any of his books either. How are you liking it so far?
ReplyDeleteHere is my teaser for today.
♥Isalys
Hmm, I wonder what kind of dance music an alien would like... Enjoy your first Patterson! I've only read one of his, but I remember liking it :)
ReplyDeleteFun teaser!
ReplyDeleteOh, great teaser for this book! I haven't read anything by this author so I'm curious to see what you think.
ReplyDeleteCute layout, too! It's very pretty.
Here's my Teaser Tuesday!
Nice teaser! I read another Daniel X book but it wasn’t this one. I love Patterson’s Women’s Murder Club series. It’s really good.
ReplyDeleteNever read this book, but after Witches and Wizards, I am waiting for the sour to leave my mind. I hope that you enjoy your book. Here's My Teaser
ReplyDeleteOoh! I've yet to read a James Patterson book! This sounds good, though, and I'm looking forward to reading one of his works. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been curious about this series. can't wait to see what you think! I've read a couple of his adult Cross series & they are fun easy reads.
ReplyDeleteLove the new look, simple and great! Good luck with James.
ReplyDeleteGreat teaser! I hadn't heard of this one, but it sounds really interesting.
ReplyDeleteOhhh James Patterson...how I wish he hadn't written Witch & Wizard because I just can't read his stuff now! haha :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, cool teaser! I read the first Daniel X book and thought it was just OK. I'll probably end up reading this one too, though since JP's books are quick reads.
ReplyDeleteI love your new layout!! I miss your beautiful header a little though...but that's just me :) I'm interested to see what you think of your first James Patterson. I liked "Sundays at Tiffany's" but definitely did not like "Maximum Ride."
ReplyDeleteCarrie, Beach, Sara, and Maya: Thanks gals! I'm working on a new header too :)
ReplyDeleteCarrie, Lisa Marie, Serpentine Librarian: Thanks for sharing your views on Max.Ride. I haven't tried that one yet.
Jess and Darlyn: Good to know :) The 1st Daniel X (I haven't read it yet) didn't sound as good as this one.
Melissa, Lori, and Cherry: LOL Witch & Wizard was that bad? Thanks for the tip. Definitely making a mental note of that.
Mama Bookworm and Mel(He Followed Me Home): Ooo good to know. I have one of his murder club books at home and haven't tried it yet. I've had several people tell me they prefer his adult stuff.
Alita and MarceJ: I promise to share the name of the song with you as soon as I know :)
GMR: Your gasp made me giggle. I sorta can't believe I've never tried his work either.
Kaye: Good question! I need to investigate.
Justine, Lizzy, Emidy, Isalys, Alice, Texas Red, Lina, and Brizmus: Goody...I'm not alone :)
both Lisas, Krista, Bookaholic, Kaye (Penguin), Aths, The1stDaughter, Another Daydreamer, Aleksandra, Freeda, and Andrea: Thanks for stopping by ladies :)
Sounds suitably creepy...and awesome! Great teaser!

ReplyDeleteAwesome teaser Juju! Sounds great. I've never heard
ReplyDeleteof this book before. Can't wait to hear what you think
about it. I'm off to do some research on the book hehe. Thanks Juju =D
I've been wondering about reading this. I used to love JP and then his Max Ride series went south for me - too preachy. I'll await your review on this one!
