Ok ladies and gents...

Did you see Alice this weekend?
Was it wonderful?
Am I missing out?
OR
Can I wait for video as long as I promise to watch it on my projector?

Have yet to see it but have heard people raving about how wonderful it is.
I actually just saw it tonight in Disney 3D (the IMAX was sold out).
The plotline is subpar but visually it's stunning and worth seeing for that, imo. Plus I was actually surprised how much I ended up liking Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.
I saw it on Saturday in 2D. I boycott 3D because 1) it makes me dizzy and 2) I'm not paying extra for it (which is why I haven't seen Avatar yet)! I loved Alice! I did not dislike the plot, the visuals were gorgeous and Johnny Depp...what can I say...he made the movie, imo! Definitely go see it, but don't bother with the 3D.
I love your blog!
And also, I gave you an award on mine.
I can't wait to see it ! It comes out on wednesday in France, I'm seriously excited ! :)
Loved it!
I went to see it this weekend and I loved it! However, I don't think that it is worth seeing in 3D, I think it would be better in 2D. The 3D added nothing for me, in fact the 3D previews had better effects for me!
I thought it was great! Very beautiful and quirky. I didn't see it in 3D though.
Hi! I DID see it in 3D... it was ok in 3D... nothing really popped out or anything so if you see it in 2D you wont be missing out...
I loved the movie visually. It was wonderful! Very Tim Burton-esque. The plot was ok... I expected Alice to be "wiser" and not doubt herself soooo much throughout the movie. I DID NOT like Anne Hathaway's version of the White Queen. Im sure it wasn't her fault (they told her how to act) but still, it was wayyyy dramatic.
I LOVED Johnny Depp as the Hatter. He gives it his little quirkyness which makes you love him. The only thing I didnt like about his character was this weird dance at the end that made you think "Whaaaaat was that??"
Overall, I really did love it. My friends and I left the theater quoting some lines and smiling all the way to the car :) I'd definitely watch it again! Let me know how YOU like it!!

Saw it last night... in 3D. It was fun in 3D, but I am not totally sure it was worth spending the extra money. The colors were definitely the thing that stood out for me. Very thing was so visual. The character were a lot of fun too. Johnny Depp did great as the Hatter. But I think my favorite character had to be the Cheshire Cat.. he was awesome.
I definitely say go see it. But in regards to 3D vs 2D... I think 2D will be just fine.
I am soooo jealous of all of you who got to see it already! My time will come!
Lit-bitch: Cool. Better than Wonka?

Chelley: I don't think so. The ad is for an Italian coffee company but I definitely I agree - I can see a bit of Winona in there.
Have you seen Star Trek yet? Winona took me off guard! :)
I haven't seen it yet, but I'm planning to so I can't wait to see what others thought of it! :)
I agree it was good visually. I'm not a huge Tim Burton fa so I thought it was okay. But my husband really liked it.
And I saw you joined the Florida ning group. Thanks! I didn't remember that you lived in Orlando!! How cool! I really want to go to the UCF thing but I have a baby shower on Saturday. =( I'm hoping there are some things to do on Friday so I can go that day. Are you going to both days?
Haven't seen it but it sounds interesting.
It's totally worth it! The plot has kinks, but it's sooooo good!
I'm thinking I will see it on DVD... but I'm not wild about going to the movie theatre.
