Whimsy Update: Ta da!

So my sweets, what do you think of my new header?


It is everything I wished for; a bit retro, a bit whimsical, and of course a bit book. After I came up with the design, a friend/web designer (and Mr. Whimsy) helped me bring it to life. It isn't perfect and there is a very good chance I may have to adjust the typewriter,
but the elements are totally moi. Input welcome!

  12. Oh, it's a typewriter..... I didn't know what was going on, on the bottom until I read the explanation. I think it may be zoomed it a bit too much but that's just me. Love the look though. :)

  19. the colors in the header is quite nice and as you said, the typewriter does need a bit adjusting but it's quite whimsical and quite right for your blog

    I would definitely expand to fit with the contents below

    & an idea, perhaps typewriter ribbons rolling across instead of the typewriter? I don't know, just an idea. I do like the combination of the illustration with the typewriter

  27. My google reader has keep me away from so many beautiful blog designs. I love what you've done with the place! I apologize for not commenting much anymore as well. I seem to have no time for fun things right now and I read everything in my reader and think "ooo, I wish I had time to comment on that!".

    NotNessie: Good question. I wonder what I can do to make it better. I've tried to keep the graphic widgets small and to a minimum.

    Lissa: Ooo like trim more of it so it looks less blurry?
