My oh my am I happy! After days of reading apathy, I turned to you (my readers) for book help. What did I get in return? Oodles of amazing suggestions, support, kind words, and feedback. Thank you thank you thank you! The Host broke my dry spell. I was so book thirsty, I drank that giant novel in 24 hours. Birthmarked is hopefully waiting for me at home and I have 3 more dystopians in route to me. I can not thank you all enough.*group hug*

ReplyDeleteWell that's some thirst! Whoah! I know I couldn't possibly read through that novel in that period of time. I'm hoping to pick it up and read it fairly soon, just to see what I think (I'm a "closet" Twilight fan!).
ReplyDeleteI wanted to drop off an award for you as well as the fact that I follow your blog daily. You can get it here.
Yay! What fun. So glad you got through the dry spell... (and now I know what to do next time it happens to me!).

ReplyDeleteyes! The Host! What a great book to break your dry spell with! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou hadn't read The Host - loved that book. So much better than Twilight. I've heard there's going to be sequel and I'm way excited. I'm a little worried about the book I told you to read. Your reading because you trust me and I'm afraid you may never trust me again. I did love it though. So glad you got past your reading apathy.
ReplyDeleteOver 600 pages in 24 hours?! That. Is. Amazing. :D I'm so glad you enjoyed The Host. I wonder what S. Meyer is going to do with that series. So, now that you've read the book, Ian Somerhalder or no? :)
ReplyDeleteI loved The Host! I’m glad to hear it helped get you out of your rut.
ReplyDeleteJess (BookLover): I answer that in my review. You'll see. I give you a shout-out :)

Becki: Me too *wink wink*

Michelle RHBC: I know right? I'm like a machine ;)
