Roving Reader: Witches and Heels

These covers caught my attention yesterday...

Has anyone read The Physick Book of Deliverance? Even though I saw the cover of Molly's new book on the Red Headed Book Child, it took seeing it in person to convince me I need to own it. It is SO cute. I can not wait to buy a copy.

  4. I want the Ringwald book!

I read Physick book and didn't like it. It was OK, but it could have been so much more. Though I might be being harsh because I brought the book on vacay with me, and unreasonably I want my vacation reads to be super awesome. When they aren't, I get pissy.

  6. Awesome post Juju! I haven't read the "...Deliverance Dane" one as of yet but do have it in my TBR mountain. Have to admit the cover drew me in first and the story hinted at in the synopsis second. ^_^ The Molly Ringwald book is great cover wise too...definitely curious to see what it holds for readers. Happy reading! ^_^

  7. A friend of mine just bought the Physik book and when I read about it on goodreads I knew I had to get it too! I haven't yet (saving money) but it is very high on my wishlist. It just came out in trade format so it's more in my price range now. This friend started it and said it was pretty good.

  18. Great covers. They would have caught my attention, too!

P.S. A Voice in the Wind was my introduction to Francine Rivers, but I'm anxious to read what else she has written - I've already picked up a couple of her books that I've heard good things about. :) I'll let ya know how that goes.

  25. I haven’t read it but it is one of the long timers on my TBR list. I’m loving the cover.

  26. The cover in the UK release does not have a girl but very similar to yours. Even though it hasn't got the girl in it, the cover was still attractive to my reader's eyes so I bought it. It's now sitting among my huge TBR pile :)

  27. Christie: Let me know when you finally read it ;)

Cherry: oooo now I'm curious. I'm off to find the UK cover :)
