Stacy and Freda: I think (I found this on the internet) it's like a bread pudding dessert ;) If my research is correct it's also referred to as plum pudding.
I love the British attitude and 'stiff upper lip' and have never heard of Duff-pudding but I have heard of plum pudding. (I'm assuming this is an English book!) The title makes me think of singing boats floating in the water...Here’s mine!
