"Well, well, well," said a distinctly masculine voice from behind me. "If it isn't Susannah Simon." Look, I won't lie to you. When a cute guy talks to me - and you could tell from this guy's voice that he was easy on the eyes; it was in the self-confidence of those well, well, wells, the caressing way he said my name -I pay attention. I can't help it. I'm a sixteen year-old-girl, after all."- Haunted by Meg Cabot
I can not believe it. I'm finally going to start my first Meg Cabot. I know I know, I shouldn't start in the middle of a series but I can't help my self. It sounds so good.

Oh this is part of a series? I haven't read any Meg Cabot either, YET. I do own a couple. My daughter has read a few and loves her.
ReplyDeleteI have not read any of her books too! Can you believe that? LOL
ReplyDeleteI haven't read this series but it does sound good! I've read some of her books for adults and I think one of her YA books.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of her books, either. I've certainly been seeing them around, though, and I'm curious.
ReplyDeleteThe opener does really capture my attention.

ReplyDeleteLOL...I like the sound of that. Curious to see what happens in this one.... ^_^
ReplyDeleteOoh, you're first Meg Cabot!? Even though I love her, I haven't read this series. So, I'll have to check back to hear what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteOh, such a great beginning! Love that so much. I'm sad to say that I've never read anything my Meg Cabot! I should follow your lead.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my BBF. Great beginning sentence on yours.
ReplyDeleteitsJUSTme, Darlyn, Ladytink, Emidy, and Laurel: *high fivers* I thought I was the only one.
ReplyDeleteGrace: Oooo I will :) thanks for the recommendation!
Lizzy & Christina: Which is your favorite MC? :)
Very cute opening!
ReplyDeleteI love this series!! Suze is totally awesome, and I love Jesse...I don't think you'll have too much of a problem by starting with Haunted, the storyline is always different :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love Meg Cabot! I really hope you enjoy it! I read only two books in the mediator series, I really need to catch up!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore Meg Cabot's books! I haven't heard of this one, though--definitely checking it out soon :) Hope you like it!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Enjoy! I've read a couple of Meg Cabot books (mostly adult) and loved them. That lady can mix in humor like a champ. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like fun - enjoy!
ReplyDeleteCan't say that I have ever come across Meg Cabot before. Interesting start
ReplyDeleteLOL...I'm in the same boat, I've never read anything by Meg either, but I'm dying to. This is one of hers I've actually never seen before, but I'm eager to hear what you think. I've seen her in person and she's quite lovely actually, very genuine person and truly funny. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read anything by Meg Cabot, but this looks like a very cute novel. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIs it crazy that I've yet to read anything by Meg Cabot?! I definitely want to now! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm yet another person who hasn't read a Meg Cabot book. I've heard she's great, though.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't she usually write chick lit

ReplyDeleteIt does sound good and I don't think I have read a Cabot either. At least not that I can remember. Enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteoh i just adore meg cabot's books! this one sounds like another winner!
ReplyDeleteThis is the one Meg Cabot series I haven't read any of. I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteJenny, Bluerose, Melissa, Whitney, & 1stdaughter: Yah! I'm not alone :)
ReplyDeleteVV: I've never tried that one. But I did enjoy the movie :)
Fifi: I think you're right :) Which is why I'm reserving my choices to her supernatural stuff :)
1stdaughter: You've seen her? How cool? Might I ask where? :)
Celia, Stacy, NotNessie, Meredith, & Kay: Do you recommend a particular one?
Lea: Thanks darling :) I was worried about that.
I just started enjoying some of Mag's books.
ReplyDeleteShe spoke on a panel at the LA Times Festival of Books and was fabulous through an intensely long line of teen girls (and me) wanted their books signed, outside in the heat! She's fabulous! (And yes, book signed, haven't read. I know, I'm a dork!)
ReplyDeleteI read a few of the Princess Diaries books when I was younger. And I read the first in the Mediator series a couple of years ago... but it gave me bad dreams for some reason. LOL
ReplyDeleteI hope you're enjoying the read.
Add me as someone who has not read Meg Cabot. Is this a secret club? I feel left out. Must check out Meg Cabot.
ReplyDeleteOh, Ju, you tease, you! Yes, it does sound good :)
