News Flash: An Author's Video Essay

I have never read anything by Katherine Center.
However, after seeing this beautiful video essay by her,
I am pretty sure I need to change that. I am not a mother,
but I challenge any woman to watch this and not feel the sudden
overwhelming desire to call or hug her own mother.

Katherine Center is the author of The Bright Side of Disaster, Everyone Is Beautiful, and Get Lucky.

  4. Nice! Just dropped my youngest off at college--hard to let go, but an exciting opening to new vistas for all. It's the coming, and going, and coming, and going that's amazing and painful and worth it.

  7. Okay, so this is quite funny. Not the video, well maybe. There are quite a few of the gals in the video I actually know in real life. So it's kind of funny to them randomly on your blog! :o)

As for Katherine Center...I have to say, I love love love this video! It does such a good job of portraying the beauty of it all.

Now, my two cents about her writing...some really love it, others don't. Most lean toward liking it. So I hope you enjoy! I'm not a huge fan for reasons I won't get into here, but I still appreciate her message here. It's fantastic! ;o)
