Happy Halloween, girl! I'm wanting to cheat and start on my Christmas reads, but I still have three scary irons in the fire I need to finish by tomorrow!
Whatcha readin' that's good...Christmas wise, I mean?
I have to wait until after Thanksgiving before I start getting excited about Christmas. Having said that, I only have one Christmas book so far. I'm looking forward to some suggestions!
Happy Halloween! I need some good Christmas books to snuggle up with. I wish we had snow for Christmas in Florida! Can you recommend a few good ones? :)
Hmmm never really thought about it. I'm not reading anything spooky or Christmassy. Right now I am finishing up "Turtle Moon" by Alice Hoffman, not really spooky but def. different! Lovin it! So far a big fan of hers.
Maya: I do looove all the fall colors too :) Happy Halloween sweet Maya. Thanks for stopping by :)
Adriana: LOL I feel ya ;)
itsJUSTme: Really? I adore seasonal reads. Oooo Alice Hoffman. She can be very cool. Will you be reviewing Turtle Moon?
Kim: OOo girl me too! I need some snow :) Maybe I will see some when I'm visiting my in laws. Can you believe it always snows before I get there or after I leave? It's like the heat follows me :) I promise to bring you some Christmas recommendations super soon ;)
Teresa: I feel ya ;) So which one do you have in the works?
Catherine: ooooooooooooooooooo that sounds fantastic! Thank you for the recommendation. I am totally putting that on my TBR list :)
Katie: I wish there was :) But sadly, I haven't heard of any. I wonder why that is? Good question btw :)
Blod: Finland? Nice :) How's the weather there right now?
Happy Halloween! I am telling myself that I'll read something spooky (or at least zombie-laden) tonight, but who knows...I may go Christmas with you. *grin*
I wish I found it before Halloween, but I just put "Excorsistah" by Claudia Mair Burney on my to read list. Looks like it would be perfect for the occasion.
Happy Halloween to you too! We've already done our trick or treating so we're just hanging out for the afternoon waiting for kiddos to stop by our place.
As for the reading...a little bit of both actually! I've got to get ready for my book club so I've already picked up a few good Christmas books that I've started. I can't wait for the holidays to be here!
Happy Halloween! :) I haven't actually picked up any Christmas books yet, so I won't be starting them anytime soon. I wish Halloween wouldn't have fallen on a Sunday. Then I could have spent more of the day reading some spooky books and watching scary movies. Unfortunately, I'm condemned to homework for most of the day.
1stdaughter: Our new house is in the country so we don't get Trick or Treaters. Bummer huh? Oooo please tell me which Christmas reads you've started? I can not wait either ;) I'm on my 3rd one.
Natalie: OOoo so true! Sorry you have to do homework.
I just picked up Two Tickets to the Christmas Ball by Donita K Paul. I got the recommendation from My Friend Amy's site. It's a Christian novella and thought it would be great for the book club. :o)
Happy Halloween!! I'm reading scary books but I'm always reading scary books. Halloween just makes it more fun. I love Christmas stories too and have always spent all of December reading them. With blogging I don't get to do as much as that as I used to and I miss it. That's something I need to get back to. Enjoy!
I read a spooky Halloween read and we read a few scary stories in my classroom, like Poe's Tell Tale Heart. Scary stories freak me out and I am ready for Christmas stories! :)

Not today! Though I have read lots of paranormal books throughout the month of October.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween! Alas, no Halloween/spooky reads for me...unless you count superheros because they dress up in costumes. Hope you had a fab evening :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading scary books but I'm always reading scary books. Halloween just makes it more fun. I love Christmas stories too and have always spent all of December reading them. Not for me too. I'm done with reading for a while. Have to catch up some school works =(
ReplyDeleteNope, just reading my usual crime/vampire/werewolf type books. Hmm... maybe I read for Halloween all year?
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I read was The Best Halloween Ever, but I'm reading a book about 5 kids making a Faustian agreement so that counts. Maybe?
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so cheating. Already went to the bookstore last weekend and got a bunch of holiday books. I am having fun reading them :)
ReplyDeleteI'm re-reading Coraline and then I'm going to reread Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows before the movie release.
ReplyDeleteNope...no cheating. Still trying to finish October! O_O Happy halloween....
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a BOO-tastic Halloween
ReplyDeleteCleverly: *giggle* I love that!
ReplyDeleteGMR: To you too my friend :)

How big is it? - the third and smallest room in my house is full of TBR books :(
