I have been thinking...big writers, backed by big beautiful publishers, don't need help finding reviews. But small time writers, publishers, and marketing companies are always searching for good reviewers. I would like to keep a list of bloggers who accept lesser-known eBooks for review. That way the next time an author contacts me for a review that I am not interested in, I have a master list of blogger suggestions I can send them. I would like to keep a YA and Adult Fiction list. So tell me, are you interested in being on my list of blogger suggestions? If so, please leave me your url (web address) in a comment below and specify which list you would like to be on (YA or Adult Fiction).
Not sure you are interested? Think lesser-knowns books aren't any fun?
Click here to see a list of the eBooks I have read and loved.

We just blogged about eBooks, eReaders and authors who take a different path to publication. We do accept eBooks. You could put us on your list for both YA and Adult. Thanks for doing this!

I would consider a YA ebook for review.
ReplyDeleteHere is my url if you would like to add me:
Red House Books -- http://redhousebooks.blogspot.com
Great idea! Thanks!
Great Laurie! Just to clarify, the url is: http://readergirls.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteEmily: Thanks Emily! :)
I love to be considered. I like adult fiction but not "paranormal". Mysteries, historical and contemporary fiction and romance are my favorite genres. I would also consider "steam punk".
ReplyDeleteMy blog is Bags, Books & Bon Jovi.

Sorry about the above deleted post, I put the wrong blog address in... stupid me.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be on your list for Young Adult Fiction.
My blog address is:

I read small press ebooks all the time. Two of them that I read last year made my best of 2010 list. Sometimes I think book bloggers are missing out by not trying them. You can sign me up for either YA or adult (inspy only).

Kathy: Hey! So nice to see you! I'm not getting that specific with the lists (otherwise I'll have a zilllion spreadsheets) but I will definitely put you down with AF :) Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteGina: No prob doll :) Will do!
Joy: Amen sister! Some of my favorite reads have been from smaller presses.
I totally get your reasons, but I don't read ebooks at the moment. If my situation changes I will let you know. Admirable quest my dear :)
ReplyDeleteI'm always willing to accept ebooks! I think it's a great way to find lesser known authors. Feel free to put me down on both lists. :)

Great idea, Juju! You can put me on the list for adult fiction...preferably historical fiction, horror, and high fantasy (i.e. similar to LOTR or Game of Thrones). Here's my url:

Ooh, I'd love to be on your list! I've been wanting to incorporate more book reviews onto my blog and I have a Nook (Barnes & Noble's e-reader) so I do a lot of e-book reading. I'm always up for shining the spotlight on lesser-known authors, especially since I'm hoping to be one someday! Haha.
ReplyDeleteI'd be open to both YA and Adult.

Juju, you know I'm in! And I go both ways ;P

If I ever have an e-reader, i'll be glad to be on the list too. I've read ebooks but only if they have less than 200 pages/pdf..
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Juju! I'd join in a heartbeat but my time for eBooks unfortunately is limited. Definitely spread the word though that you're looking for a few good bloggers.... ^_^
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be added to your list! I review YA/MG, Romance/Erotica, Westerns and some Mysteries/Thrillers. I only accept .pdf format for ebooks. My email is bookjunkie221@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, Juju! If ebooks are NOOK compatible, I would love to accept any YA reads :)

This sounds like a great thing. I always enjoy discovering lesser-known authors. Sometimes the best work is the least acclaimed. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteFor me too, they would have to be nook compatible, I wouldn't mind a few now and then. Either YA or Adult, I read both (no heavy romance please!)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the best ideas ever! I enjoy working with debut or lesser-known authors because they are really put a lot of time and effort into their features and are so appreciative (not that well-known authors aren't always either but sometimes I do notice a difference). I love supporting newbies though! Bravo post! You can sign me up for YA-but lately I need more mature YA (almost borderline adult) and anything with supernatural or urban fantasy elements is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI'm really weird about e-books. If it's not paper, then I generally never get around to reading it.
ReplyDeleteSure! I'll be on the YA list. I mostly read historical, dystopian, and romance novels. As long as it sounds like something I might enjoy, I will read it! I should mention that I am definitely not partial to paranormal though. Just a head's up. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy blog is over at: http://muggle-born.net/
Fantastic idea. So glad to see people actually supportive of lesser known authors / publishers. You can totally add me to the YA list. My TBR pile is insane right now, but I am always open to helping out as I can.
ReplyDeleteYou're such a sweetie! I'll read either

ReplyDeleteKate: Thank you! :D http://www.theneverendingshelf.com/ right? :)
LadyTink: I feel ya :) I can understand that. Sort of an "out of sight out of mind" thing. :)
Kim: Thanks & OMG I totally agree! The difference is huge and I always ache for the smaller books that are so superb they deserve some pushing. :D
Wall-to-wall: Hooray! Just to verfify, it's http://wall-to-wall-books.blogspot.com/ right?
Roxy: Amen! :)
Melissa: I have a question for you: What does nook compatible mean? With the Kindle a PDF can be sent to the Kindle (by the owner or an approved email address) and it's converted and appears on your machine. Does the nook work like that? :)
Jamie: Great! :) Question: Should I put down the love of YA or http://thebookjunkiesbookshelf.blogspot.com/ as the address I refer them to? :)
GMR: Right on :) I totally understand!
Darlyn: Ahhhh one day right? :)
Tipsy: LOL :D *chuckle* Will do!
Casee Marie: Oooo this would be a great opportunity for you! I love it! Thank you so much for signing on.
Michelle: Whoot whoot! :) I will put you on the AF.

ReplyDeleteThanks!
Cici: Yay! Thanks for signing on :D
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm interested! YA and Adult. My new blog address is...ta da da ta ta da: http://reelswellblog.com.
ReplyDeleteJulie: Yay! You're back! Will do :)
ReplyDeleteI read urban fantasy but haven't got an ereader, so I don't know if I count there. I read ebooks with my computer. Sometimes a book is so good that I do not notice that I am sitting on my computer reading it. But that takes a major mojo talent to be able to do that.
ReplyDeleteI think this is an awesome idea, and I'm definitely interested. Thank you for doing this! I don't mind being on either...would even love to be on both lists! :)

To answer your question For The Love... will be my main blog after March 15. Thanks for asking.
ReplyDeleteHey, I've only just started blogging and have reviewed books just for fun in past, so I'd love to be part of your list if that is ok.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for asking.
All the best,

Cherry: How about I keep you in mind if something extra saucy comes my way? :) I won't do that for most but I'll do it for you ;)
Pick me, pick me, Juju! I definitely want to get into the ARC business. I would prefer adult fiction.
