Well Said: Argue

"She was rude. But I bit my tongue because there are two people you should never argue with: makeup artists and plumbers. Either can ruin you." - Very Valentine by Adriana Trigiani
Ok so technically I'm cheating. I haven't bought this book yet. I did pick up the Kindle sample based on my pal Michelle's advice (The Red Headed Book Child). So far it is so totally cute, snarky, and funny that I will definitely be buying a copy.

  20. I really love this author and definitely must read more of her stuff. I don't think it's cheating to take a teaser from a sample. A teaser is a teaser is a teaser - no matter where it's from.

  25. You know, that's the one thing that tempts me about kindles. I really like the idea of peeking into a book before I buy it. I never have enough time at the bookstore to read a chapter or two to decide. Also, love the teaser!

  31. What a great teaser and totally true! I love this cover! Red is my favorite color.

Okay, this is off of the teaser, but the other day I had a plumber here at the house. When he was working on the dishwasher he reminded me of Dan Aykroyd's impersonation of a plumber on SNL. Do you remember that?
