Cherry: I think it's definitely culture. Odd fact: For some reason I love German covers. I'm not sure what that says about me. Maybe I'll love Germany when I finally get to see it.
Ooh, I should reread the Tommy and Tuppence books! I know I really liked them when I read them. I like the first in the top row as well, and the second graphic novel. Nice job tracking down all these covers...I love looking at them and definitely think they reflect the culture of the country.
Man, I am so out of it! I didn't realize you participated last week! I'm SO sorry. Thanks for participating! I love the variety of covers there are for this book. I think I like the fourth one the best.
I really like the 1st and 3rd covers in the top row!
ReplyDeleteThose re some really boring covers
ReplyDeleteBlod: I'm sure it's because it's an older book.
ReplyDeleteRuth: Me too!
Do you think that the covers are influenced by that country's culture? Or just plain old dumb luck?

ReplyDeleteI love those covers!
ReplyDeleteYou're always my cover girl!
My two is the first one and the black and white with the lady. Least favorites: the one with the life preserver and the bear.
ReplyDeleteSarah: Me too! This is my first T&T so I'm super glad to hear you liked them all :)
ReplyDeleteGina Hott: A title I will know hold near and dear to my heart :)
Julie: OOoooo me too! *high five* 1 & 7 are my favs. Least fav is probably 4 (life preserver) and the German cover.
I agree with Ruth--I really like the first and third. Loving all of these covers--thanks for sharing them!
ReplyDeleteChristina: The 3rd is such retro fun :) Thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteThe third cover in the top row is the style I saw often growing up. Brings back such good reading memories . . .
ReplyDeleteRenee Ann: I was just saying I love that retro fun cover :) GREAT choice.
ReplyDeleteWow so many covers. I like the first one the best.
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' the black and white sketch.
ReplyDeleteHow cool! I love #1 and #3 for some reason.
ReplyDeleteJenny N: That is one of my favs too :)
ReplyDeleteKaye: OMG that's the other fav of mine :)
Jillian: You must have a slightly retro soul ;)
I love those vintage covers. I actually have a few of vintage Agatha Christies in my collection.
ReplyDeleteWithout reading the book, the German cover is my favorite.
ReplyDeletePlaying Librarian: Ooo me too. As do I. I've been collecting the black leather bound ones. Have you seen those?
ReplyDeleteAlexis: Right on :) It has great color.
The top right corner one looks mysterious!
ReplyDeleteHmm, least favorite is the one with the bear and the mask....favorite would be the black and white one with the silhouette.
ReplyDeleteWow! So many great covers. I have the fourth one.
