Well Said: The Secret Adversary


"That's the curious part about speaking the truth. No one does believe it." - The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie (1922)
Tuppence (fab nickname if you ask me) utters this line after speaking a false that was easier to believe than the truth. What struck me about this line is that it really is easier to believe fiction sometimes. Especially when knee deep in a good mystery.

  17. I agree. Sometimes fiction is often easier to believe. Which is why people sometimes make-up fiction instead of telling the truth.
