Free eBook Alert: One Imperfect Christmas

Good morning lovies! It's alert time! One Imperfect Christmas by Myra Johnson is currently FREE for the Kindle and the nook. The cover reminds me that in just 5 days the Tales of Whimsy home is converting to Christmas decor. So early you ask? Why yes, since Baby Whimsy is slated to be a December baby and I am not sure if I will have any time or energy for decor by then, we're decorating early. If you celebrate Christmas, do you start decorating early, wait till the day after Thanksgiving or December 1st, or do you prefer the thrill of the last minute action?

Don't have a Kindle but still interested? Consider
downloading the Kindle reader (for free) for your for PC, BlackBerry, or iPhone. Own a nook? Check out Free Friday at Hott Books.

  4. I start decorating a weekend or two after Thanksgiving. The only holidays that I like to mix are Christmas, My birthday (the 26th) and New Years!

  5. I usually start decorating the first week of December, I like to get through one holiday before moving on to the next. I couldn't believe when I saw Christmas decorations in Target several weeks ago already. It's not even Halloween!

Christmas? Oh yeah, I guess it's about that time. Christmas decorations start going up early in December around here. I like to get a tree before all the good ones are gone. :)

Oh, and I meant to tell you before: I love your new graphic/header! :)

  15. Oh my goodness, I didn't realize Baby Whimsy was coming so soon -- how exciting!

It's a family tradition to always decorate for Christmas the Saturday/Sunday after Thanksgiving, once the Black Friday shopping has come to a close. It's my favorite time of year!

  24. I downloaded thanks!!

We put up the Christmas tree and decorations the day after Thanksgiving. It's kind of a tradition. May dad puts up decorations outside and we play Christmas music and we all have our own little jobs. Next to Christmas day, it is our best Christmas moment :)

  25. Christina: I love it too. I swear September rolls around and it's all I can think about. And thank you we are quite excited about our special Christmas gift. :)

Alexis: Oh right on! :) I like that day. And I love that it's a special tradition. So what's your job/task?

  26. So exciting that Baby Whimsy will be here soon! We usually wait until after Thanksgiving before any holiday decorations go up. Not sure if we'll have room for a big tree or anything this year. It might be a tabletop fern or something ;)

  27. Thanks so much for mentioning my book! For anyone who misses the free download this time around, ONE IMPERFECT CHRISTMAS will be offered again in November and December.

  28. Normally, we wait until after thanksgiving, but I think it was unanimously decided that we should start immediately! I'm tired of feeling like Christmas goes so quickly because we waited until nearly Christmas eve! Thank so much for the free e-book! I'm always looking for Holiday stories!

  33. I like to decorate early too! Usually before Thanksgiving. But I don't know if I will put a tree up this year. Kaitlyn is VERY interested in shiny things and I'm worried she'll try to climb the tree!

  35. I do wait till after Thanksgiving. I also do not start playing Christmas music till then either. And I love Christmas music!
I wait because I also LOVE Thanksgiving! I like to concentrate on that holiday first and give it all the glory without being in Christmas' shadow. Know what I mean? So then once Thanksgiving is over, then bring on the Christmas!

  36. thanks for the heads up juju. looks awesome!

  37. Walltowall: I feel ya ;) Normally I'm with you. But this year, I'm skipping Thanksgiving :) (Still going to the family Thanksgiving at my husband's granny's house).

  38. We tend to decorate at the last minute (weekend before Christmas). I wouldn't say it's exactly a thrill though... it's quite stressful! I don't know why we do it.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Aylee: O that is really last minute and sounds stressful. Do you like the tradition?

    ReplyDelete
  40. congratulations on the baby whimsy--I had a baby in December and it was my favorite year of Christmas!
