So what did you get this week? Are you ready for tomorrow? Do you get trick-or-treaters? Are you dressing up? Or are you like me and simply passing out candy? Oh and do tell, what did you think of Grimm?

Even though I never read Belly Laughs, I've heard it's really good! Tomorrow my baby turns two but we had his party yesterday so tomorrow we go to my church for the candy/bounce house/kid fest extravaganza that they have each year, or as we call it, party number 2 :-)

Great books! I've never read any of Jenny McCarthy's books, but I've heard they're quite good. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThe Jenny McCarthy book looks cute. I haven't read it, but it looks hilarious!

Looks like you're in for some fun reading! I haven't seen Grimm yet--I'm off to correct that! Have a Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat set! Queen of Kentucky sounds very cute.
ReplyDeleteMy IMM
I haven't seen Grimm yet - is it any good? I did happen to catch Once Upon A Time yesterday and am looking forward to watching more it, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteMeredith: Thanks :) Enjoy! And Happy Halloween to you too :)
ReplyDeleteRenee: Thanks:)
Alison: I think so too. I'm off to see your IMM :)
Alita: It's dark but really interesting so far :)
Happy Halloween Juju. Hope you enjoy Belly Laughs, it was my favourite of hers.
ReplyDeleteWoot! I like the look of Belly Laughs!
ReplyDeleteOoh, books in the mail! I'd love some. Haha. I am handing out candy, and not dressing up. But that's ok. I'm not much for haunted houses or parties, and am a bit old for trick or treating! I really liked Grimm so far. It's dark, but good.
ReplyDeleteMarce: Thanks darling :) And thank you again for Belly Laughs :)
ReplyDeleteAths: Thanks :)
Gabrielle: I feel ya :) I do wish more grown ups threw costume parties :) Oh and you summarized Grimm exactly like I did "dark but good". :)
These are new to me. I hope you enjoy them all.
ReplyDeleteQueen of Kentucky is on my to read.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Q: Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteCari: Right? So cute. I want her boots.
I hope all of your new books are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBermuda: Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteMight be dressing up but still staying home to pass out the candy. We get a pretty good amount of trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood....I'm armed and ready (with 40 candy bags packed and ready to go). ^_^
ReplyDeleteGMR: Oh goody! As what, may I ask? You go girl! I need to go candy shopping this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteGreat haul!
ReplyDeleteI just loved Belly Laughs so much. I didn't like her next books in the series quite as much, though. But I liked the candidacy of her stories that was lacking in other parenting books.
Happy reading!
Oh, and I really liked Grimm. I thought it started off badly, but ending well. Can't wait to see where the season goes!
Penelope: Thanks :) And that's fab to hear. I'll make a mental note about the next book.
ReplyDeleteGreat way to summarize Grimm. I screamed within the first 5 seconds.
Enjoy your books :)
ReplyDeleteBlod: Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteOh! Baby Laughs. What a thoughtful gift! I've heard Jenny's candor is one that expecting mothers really appreciate.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy.
Missie: Thanks :) I'm excited to try it.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing none of the above :( I am sequestering myself in a dark corner with candy and coffee and attempt to meet a very important deadline. It's not pretty.
ReplyDeleteBelly Laughs looks like a great book for you. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteAlexis: Ahhhh bummer. But at least you're adding candy to the mix :)
ReplyDeleteJenny N: Thanks :) I think so too.
These sound like really fun books! Great haul!
