"If you stay here, you can have whatever you want."
Coraline sighed. "You really don't understand, do you?" she said. "I don't want whatever I want. Nobody does. Not really. What kind of fun would it be if I just got everything I ever wanted just like that, and it didn't mean anything? What then?"

  9. I took my daughter to this movie and had really mixed feelings about it...:( I haven't read the book though....

    I still get the chills about those button eyes...so creepy...like clowns...**shudder**

  12. I want to read this book so badly! I'm FINALLY reading my first book by Neil Gaiman (Neverwhere) now for my gender issues class. I'm only 100 pages in, but I can definitely say that it won't be the last book I read by him!

  40. Oh, Coraline! Neil Gaiman is an absolute favorite of mine, but I found that book to be one of his creepiest. Still get shivers when I think of it. A great choice for this season, though! Hope you're enjoying it!
