Let's Talk About Austenland

I am probably totally Miss Johnny-come-lately, but I had to share this in case you too hadn't heard.
Did ya know Stephenie Meyer is producing the film version of Shannon Hale's book Austenland?
Go Stephenie! Whoot whoot! Austenland will star Keri Russell (fab), Jennifer Coolidge (LOVE her), and Jane Seymour (class act). While I haven't read it yet, I can NOT wait! Ooo and congrats to Keri! She had her baby Willa 14 days after I delivered Baby Whimsy.

For more Austenland pics, updates, and interviews waltz over to Twilight Lexicon.

So do you think you will read it or watch it first?

    2. Yea, I'm trying to diminish my use of the word "awesome", so "amazeballs" is my new thing. I heard it somewhere and it stuck, haha!

I think I might see the movie first because I'm am loving the cast a lot right now. I'll probably read the book soon after to compare. I usually do it the other way around but my to read pile is huge at the moment, LOL.

    3. I love it. It's adorable. You rock it gf!

      Right on!

I'm one of those gals that likes to see the movie first then read it. It allows me to enjoy the movie without comparing it. 'Cause the book is almost always better :)

    1. Me too! I wonder if folks call her that to her face? Some people are forever a certain character in our minds. I've always said if I ever meet Harrison Ford, I'm gonna call him Han. :)

    2. hehe I'm sure it's happened to her before :P Certain actors will forever be a particular character to me. When I see their picture, the character name immediately pops into my head and I have to think for a minute to remember their real name (like Harry Potter. Um, I mean, Daniel Radcliffe). Han is another one :)

      Delete
    3. Right? If I saw Daniel I would totally probably blurt Harry. LOL :)
