  3. Love the baby gifts!!! I have been wanting to listen to Clockwork Prince. I have the book but haven't gotten to it and know that I would probably listen to it before reading.

  7. That Clockwork Prince looks like an audiobook format. Makes it easy to 'coz it leaves you with both hands free to look after baby whimsy while listening to the book :)

  8. Cannot vouch for the book version of Fireproof, Juju... but the film is spectacular. It isn't even "geared" towards me and still I thought it was beautiful. =) Highly recommended.

  9. First of all, CONGRATULATIONS ON BABY WHIMSY!!!! Oh my, oh my, I never knew just how sweet life could be with a baby in it. Life is good. And I am a Fireproof (movie) fan! It was definitely a little cheesy at times, but also a great reminder to not take my husband for granted.

      New mommyhood is awesome. I love her to pieces. As for sleep, I'm super tired. Some nights I get as much as 6 hours but mostly I average 4 hours.

Mine met an unfortunate fate, I left him in his box on my desk at home and went out to run errands, and when I came home there were bits and pieces of him scattered throughout the house. Apparently my dogs found him hugely entertaining:(

    1. He was a gift from the Kirks. He came in a swag pack for their book Demons at Deadnight. Since I haven't read the story yet, I'm not sure how he/she works in to the story yet.

    I'm interested to hear what you think of The Clockwork Prince recording. I could hardly finish it, though I love the series. The girl who narrates it just grated on my nerves. But that's just me! Hopefully you'll really enjoy it! :o)

    2. The guy on the recording was much better, though it took some getting used to because he has a pretty thick accent. She just sounded like she was reading directly out of the book which was odd to me since she's an actress. I didn't listen to any of the others, I've only read the print versions...which I loved.

      Hopefully I'm not totally raining on your parade! I hope you still enjoy it no matter. :o)

  50. The last time I listened to an audio book was in highschool. They always made me fall asleep lol, but maybe they were just boring stories in general.
