They come in your choice of pretty muted colors (like above) or black and white. So check them out! So far I can't decide which one is my favorite and I can't wait to see what the Mary Poppins print will look like (due out next month).

Eureka! Litographs
Grab your pocketbooks ladies 'cause what I'm about to show you is not only lovely and perfect for any reader, but it's affordable! The website is called Litographs.com and they sell lithographs made of the text from the book. Thus, the term litographs. Get it? Cute and seriously cool right? Below is an example of the Moby Dick and Alice prints with a zoom in on the words.

ReplyDeleteOh my, those are awesome! I love the Alice in Wonderland one!
ReplyDeleteOoh, so very cool! Bookish art is always such fun :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? :)
DeleteHow cool is the Peter Pan one over the bed?! I love these! Turkeybird is a HUGE Peter Pan fan and I may just have to pick that one up for his room. He'd love it! Yay! Great find!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing! :) Awesome for a boys room. :)
DeleteThese are amazing, they have one for Emma that I would love to have!
ReplyDeleteO I do love the Emma one too! Sooooo pretty. And you know my love for silhouettes.
DeleteI saw some similar ones on pinterest, they were black and white text in silhouettes of the characters.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think you would like Will from the Pursuit of Lucy Banning. He was soooo sweet and such a good man :))
Interesting.
DeleteI wonder how they would compare.
*trying to imagine them*
;) We always go for the sweet good guys don't we?
For sure!! :))
DeleteI found the link to the other style: http://www.spinelessclassics.com/
Oh ok! Thank you! :) I think I like Litographs designs better but these are very cool and definitely in the same vein. Thanks for coming back and sharing the link.
DeleteI just checked out the site and I love the Emma one too and the prices are reasonable so I'm very tempted to get one.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought! So many times I fall in love with things I simply can't afford.
DeleteThese are amazing! I'm glad they show a zoom-in because I never would of guessed that the pictures are made up of words without it. Very cool. Thanks for sharing, Juju!
ReplyDeleteMe neither! :) I bet they are super cool in person.
DeleteBTW, I love your new header!!
ReplyDeleteThanks doll :)
DeleteWow! That's gorgeous. Sadly, it took me a minute to figure out what it was exactly, but now I want one! :)
ReplyDeleteTotally understandable :)
DeleteLooks cool! I am going over to check the site!
ReplyDeleteIs it sad that I want these in wallpaper form to plaster all over my bedroom walls? Lol.
ReplyDeleteThat would be cool and I love how you always think outside the box. :)
DeleteI have the Emma one and I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteBtw, I LOVE your new header! Perfect! Are you going to keep updating it as Baby Whimsy grows?
You have one? Too cool! :) *high five*
DeleteSo where does it hang? Living room? Office?
Thank you! :D Good question. I think when she's too big for a stroller (in a few years) I will upgrade it. Does your son still use his stroller? If not how long did he?
These are lovely! And I'm with you Juju, can't wait to see the Mary Poppins one :)
ReplyDeleteRight? When I was young I wanted a baby sitter like her. Now that I'm an adult, I want that magical umbrella.

ReplyDeleteHuh. I would imagine it would've been pretty hard to get all the swirls right, with the writing and all that. Lots of hard work and talent! I hope they continue to do what they do and hopefully we'll get to see some more fav classics!
ReplyDeleteRight? :) Me too!
DeleteThis is so creative. I'm off to peruse the site and see which ones I'd want. Thanks for the heads up.

I got the email today and was just drooling over it.
DeleteYou got it? That's awesome!
Did you get it in color or black and white?
I can not wait to see a picture of yours! :D
I got it in B&W. I just think it looks more clean and classic that way. :)
DeleteOooooo right on!
DeleteI can't wait to see!
AWESOMELY cool! There's another site called Postertext.com that makes POSTERS out of the complete text of a book. All things to hang on my walls some day... (*adds to buy list*)
ReplyDeleteOooooo LOVE it! I'm fawning over the one called Middlemarch right now! :)
DeleteHi Juju! So nice to meet you. This is so cool. Love this idea. I am totally going over to check the website out. It reminds me of the photomosaics. I went nuts over those and I have Starry Night and Irises by Van Gogh in photomosaics framed and in my bedroom. they are gorgeous. These would be a nice addition.
ReplyDeleteLikewise :) I love your header!

I want ALL OF THESE. Okay, maybe not every single one, but almost all. These are so cool! I've seen something similar on another website, but they aren't nearly as pretty as these. I really love the Alice, Emma, Harry Potter and Secret Garden posters. Maybe I can convince my husband that they are perfect for our new office?! One can hope!
ReplyDeleteOMG that would be awesome. Good luck! *fingers crossed for you*
