Yackety-yak: I've Been Caged

Help! I've been having problems commenting on WordPress blogs. I comment and then it disappears? I think I might be caught in your spam filters.

If you're a WordPress blogger would you see if I've been snagged?

  1. Wordpress has made changes to their commenting system and it is a total pain now. I didn't find any of your comments in my spam.

  3. I noticed the other week a couple of your comments went to my spam. I have no idea why as this has never happened before. I fished them out and I've been checking ever since. It has happened again as far as I can tell. Sorry you're having trouble.

  5. Interestingly (or not!), I have a similar phenomenon happening on my own Blogger blog: I simply can't use the "reply" button, the comments keep disappearing.

I suppose these are temporary glitches and someone's already at work correcting it.

    good luck,
    Merisi

    1. Merisi darling! How are you?
      SO weird about reply disappearing.
      I can relate.
I've had that happen a time or two but it usually clears up soon after.
      Thanks for dropping by :)
I need to stop by your beautiful blog.
It's been too long since I popped over there.

  6. This is too funny...last week when I commented on Wordpress blogs...I got everyone's comments because the box was automatically checked!!!

    I had so much email!!!

  7. Lots of people keep asking me this but their comments (if they don't show up) are always in the spam folder. WP just forgets to tell people that some comments are awaiting moderation :/

  8. One of my friends on "Blogger" has a Wordpress blog and in order to use my profile photo, I unknowingly created a Gravatar/Wordpress account so I now have both. My Wordpress blog isn't open right now as I just have it sitting in limbo where only I can see it. Bottom line, when I comment on a Wordpress blog, I log in and the comment turns up just fine...

Hope you found out how to correct it, Juju! =)

  9. I've noticed it happening with my WordPress blog just in the past few weeks. It's funny though because it's only a couple of comments here or there. Weird :-P. I've finally gotten in the habit of checking the Spam folder everyday. And I know I've run into a similar thing with blogger (which you were ever so kind to help me out with--thank you), but that was an issue of being unable to comment rather than being banished to the Spam zone. Ergh. Sorry for the inconvenience!

  10. This totally stinks! I haven't seen any of your comments in my spam. :o(

I do know that Wordpress is getting ready to roll out a HUGE upgrade. My theme for my site just upgraded in anticipation of that update and now keeps having random issues. Hopefully they get it all sorted out soon because I miss having you in my comments! :o)

    1. OOo I was not aware. Thanks for the heads up.

And what a bummer. Growing pains. Argh ;)

Luckily I don't think yours was one I was getting snagged on. Thank goodness! What would I do if I couldn't comment on your blog? I'd be heartbroken that's what :D
