1. We've been to the pumpkin patch and orchard twice already. We love it there. Oh and don't get me started on how divine sugar coated apple cider donuts are. Second best fall treat.
2. Baby Whimsy's new favorite thing is pulling all her books off of her shelf. I could stop her but I love seeing her surrounded by her books.

Now tell me, what's new with you?

OMG...she is so adorable...and standing up already? Yikes!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean...apple cider cinnamon doughnuts are the best thing ever!
Yes :) She's a good steady stander.
DeleteRight? *high five*
LOVE this post. it's so mumsy all around :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI love the word mumsy ;)
Oh my goodness. Sometimes I really wish I could invite you (and the little one) 'round for tea and an afternoon about town.
ReplyDeleteAlso, what types of lattes do you like? They're very simple and homemade whipped cream on top is so easy and tastes so delicious!
Right? That would be awesome!
DeleteA. I would love to meet and chat.
B. I adore tea and can't wait to introduce Baby Whimsy to it.
I like mocha, caramel, salted caramel...you name it :)
LOL. You are in love with the sweet caramel! My best advice would be to make your very own caramel whipped cream. I'll send you a super easy recipe soon.
DeleteAlso, should either of us visit the others' state, we must chat!
Make my own caramel whipped cream?
DeleteYUM!
I'm intrigued and afraid.
What's to keep me from eating the batch before coffee time? ;)
Thank you so much. I can't wait to see the recipe.
I can't believe Baby Whimsy is so big already! It looks like you're having a splendid fall.
ReplyDeleteWe sure are :) We can't get enough of fall in this house.
DeleteI loooove, love love love when you post baby pics!
ReplyDeleteHey you actually cam in 3rd in my commenting contest! Thanks for giving it a real hard go! It was so much fun! I loved it.
Thank you :)
DeleteI always love how you and your daughter make an event of it.
:)
This post is 100% whimsical and I'm lovin' it!
ReplyDeleteAwww best compliment! Thank you :)
DeleteTHE CUTENESS! Baby Whimsy is soooo adorable! :D
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteHihi, the little lady seems to have a hard time deciding what to read. Adorable :)
ReplyDeleteShe sure does :) Thank you
Deletecuteness abounds and love the pumpkin patch and oh trying to pick a book :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI agree - being surrounded by books is soo cute! :)
ReplyDeleteRight? :) Thank you
DeleteI have never been to a pumpkin patch. Maybe they just weren't a thing when I was little? I think my sister has taken her kiddies to one since they have been around. I feel as though I am missing out on life. :P
ReplyDeleteWhat? Really? If I lived closer it would be my mission to change this. :)
DeleteI didn't go until last year.
Where I come from in Central Florida they don't really have them. The local churches do little mock patches and I always loved those but a real patch is so much more charming. :) You should take the dogs. They're usually allowed (on leashes).
It's been ages since I've been to a pumpkin patch! But Baby Whimsy looks like she's having a lot of fun this fall. :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww :)
DeleteShe sure is :)
Do you remember those pictures I used to share of Littlebug climbing on the piles of books? I love that so much. <3 It's so excited to see them so fascinated! And Baby Whimsy is so gorgeous and getting so big! I love that little hand though. ;o)
ReplyDeleteAhhh...for the love of all things fall! It rained here this last week and I was so sad to hear that it's going to be back up in the 80s again, just when I was getting all snuggled in for lovely fall weather. Soon though, hopefully!
Enjoy the pumpkin patches! We're going in a week or so and I can't wait! :)
*scratches head* I think so. You should send it to me anyway. ;) I could use a cuteness refresher.
DeleteThank you :)
I love her little hand too. Her baby pick and scratch is pretty freaking adorable.
80s? Noooo! I'm with you. I want it to get cold and stay cold.
YAY!!!! I can't wait to see your pics of the patch.
I adore autumn! Glad to see you and Baby Whimsy are enjoying it too!
ReplyDeleteAlso, that latte looks AMAZING! I just learned how to make my own frappachinos. Maybe lattes will be next on my list. :)
We sure are. I just love love love the weather. :)
DeleteThank you much :) Whoot whoot! *high five* You go girl!
Oh Juju, she is just too perfect! Would you look at her! Aw. Also, I suddenly have an intense craving for sugar coated apple cider donuts...
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteYay! Mission accomplished.
Um...BEST AUTUMN POST EVER. Super adorbs. Love the pics and I love the baby book thing. Also, I've obviously been missing out on those donuts for my entire existence.
ReplyDelete;0)
Thanks :)
DeleteOh my goodness darling - you must make it your mission to try one! ;)
Love the pumpkin patch! I need to find one so I can take my nephew. You should share your latte tips and tricks. Baby Whimsy just want's to catch up on the blogs! I just finished Of Poseidon by Anna Banks on audio and it's a great YA. Great post!
ReplyDeleteYes :) It's such fun.
DeleteLOL Right? Did you see it was your blog I was visiting?
Oooo I can't wait for that review :)
LOL yes Baby Whimsy is a fan of my blog! I love it!
Delete:) She is indeed
DeleteSuch sweet photos, Juju. Happy autumn!
ReplyDeleteThank you :) You too sugar!
DeleteHow adorable are those pics! Looks like you all are having fun at the pumpkin patch! And I understand your pain. My nephew just takes over my iPad when he's around and I'm on it. Knows how to unlock it and pull up his favorite game and everything. Before you know Baby Whimsy will be commandeering your tablet!
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteWow. How old is he? :)
I know it. In no time I'll be buying her her own computer. ;)
He'll be three this December! They're so smart, so early!
DeleteAwwwww! :)
DeleteI feel ya. It's amazing.
Those pictures are so cute!! Homemade lattes? Yumm...how do you make them?
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteI'm still working on my technique/flavoring but it's heated milk, coffee, flavoring (some times cocoa, sometime caramel, etc.), whipped cream, and I like to sprinkle the whipped cream with a bit of salt for the salted caramel flavor.
Yumm! :) I love lattes I need to try that out!
Delete:)
DeleteI love fall and pumpkins! I live in FL so it's not the same but I still go all out with fall/ Halloween decorations and pretend I'm still in New England.
ReplyDeleteIt isn't the same in Florida is it? :)
DeleteThat's awesome! You go girl! :)
Mmmmm that latte does look good. Nice work! The pumpkin patch was one of my favorite places too when the kids were young. Fall colors are just so beautiful. It may be my most favorite season. The pulling off the books from the shelves thingy is quite funny but I do feel strongly its tipping the iceberg of her fascination with books! That's great.
ReplyDeleteAs for me, well, we went to the Patriots vs Seahawks game this weekend. It was my first experience watching a professional team play. What a thrilling game a great way to get a newbie excited about football the Seahawks won 24-23. Came down to the last few plays - wow!
Thank you :)
DeleteMy favorite season too. :)
Tipping the iceberg! I like that. I'm definitely alll about encouraging books books books. :) We joke that I'm a book pusher.
OMG what fun! Isn't totally different in person? :)
Yes, totally different in person. I think its because the game seems so fast on TV and in person you can see the entire field and watch the play developing. The crowd was a big factor in this win, too.
DeleteI LOVE these posts! (especially the little peeks at Baby Whimsy.) It always warms my heart to see my little ones surrounded by books, too. :) I have GOT to schedule a pumpkin patch trip soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteIsn't awesome? :)
Definitely!
What a cutie! And that latte looks delicious! E-mail me one. lol
ReplyDeleteRight? That would be SO cool. Jetson style.
DeleteAWE! Baby Whimsy! Isn't she a big girl!? So precious. :)
ReplyDeleteHow did the latte turn out? Cuz it look yummy! :)
~Liz
Thank you :) She sure is.
DeleteI'm getting better and better. :) Thanks for asking.
Loving the update and so jealous of your visit to the pumpkin patch! My mom and I use to do that up north all the time...so much fun!
ReplyDeleteAwwww you're from up north? Where originally? :)
DeleteGoodness she's getting so big...yet those pumpkins still dwarf her! She's adorable Mama Whimsy...enjoy every moment!
ReplyDeleteShe is getting big :) And we do have some rather HUGE pumpkins here :)
DeleteThank you :) I sure do.
The latte looks heavenly! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks :) It was pretty awesome.
Deletethe wee one is so adorable!
ReplyDeletemy wee one is 15 and still cute as a button to me ;-D
Awwww I bet :) I'm sure I will feel the same way in 15 too.
DeleteThis post is full of awesome. Those pics of Baby Whimsy are adorable! I love that she loves books (even if it's pulling them off the shelf!). That latte looks amazing too and I want one of those donuts.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI'm certainly doing my best to encourage a life long relationship :)
OMG you must try the donuts. There like little fall flavored slices of heaven.
She's a cutie! Babies and books...lovely combination. =O) I've been busy, busy, busy with my job. I work at home, but I got promoted, so more work! I have a Weekly News post up at my blog if you want to know more about what's been going on.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Amen!
DeleteYou go girl! Do you have a certain schedule or work whenever you want? :)
baby whimsy and the book case--adorable. I would love to join you for a day at the races. The Kentucky Derby is on my bucket list. Nothing new here, it seems the hurrier I go the behinder I get.
ReplyDeleteThank you :) It's shaped like a little house.
DeleteWill you believe I haven't been yet?
SO close.
Hopefully this spring.
We go to the spring and fall meet at Keeneleand. :)
I feel ya on "the hurrier I go the behinder I get".
Oh my goodness, she is way too cute! Looks like she's gonna be a reader like her mama! ;)
ReplyDelete:) Thanks! I hope so.
DeleteBaby Whimsy is so cute and she is around books already *high five* - that is too awesome. She has her own book shelf. So cool.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteMama has her shelf full of board books (safe from baby destruction) and a shelf in her closet stuffed of older books. Ya I can deny myself books but not Baby Whimsy :)
Oh, she's adorable! I'm not sure I'd be able to keep her from pulling down the books either - it's so perfect. Glad you're enjoying fall! I can't wait to go to the pumpkin patch myself this weekend. Yay!
ReplyDeleteRight? :)
DeleteWhoot whoot! Who you going with? :)
I love the pictures and the attack of the baby hand was cute :) Oh and I had my first apple cider donut when I went to an orchard in Virginia a couple of weeks ago. Just heavenly!
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteRight? Awesomeness :)
Love these pics!
ReplyDeleteThanks :D
DeleteI want to see pictures of your little one. He must be getting HUGE.
I love this post! Baby Whimsy is so cute. And she's already abusing books. LOL. I have to try some of those donuts! Where can I get em? Hehe. And the latte perfecting sounds fun - I love coffee and mocha!
ReplyDeleteLOL :) I know. It hurts a little. But all the articles I've read say that you have to surround them by books (knowing many will die for the cause) to start an early love of books. So mama keeps the board books out and the paper ones put away. ;)
DeleteGood question! They only place I've seen the donuts are at orchards. Do you have any near you? :)
mmm those donuts sound delish! We're going to an orchard next week so I'll see if they have something similar. Love Baby Whimsy surrounded by books :)
ReplyDeleteThey so are. Ooooo awesome! I hope they do! Think of me when you bite one, k? ;)
DeleteOMG! Baby and books! That's heaven on earth! Of course, the baby would have to be napping. LOL
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, Juju! Thanks for sharing them. I'm so glad that you have having a proper fall. It still feels like summer down here. LOL
Thanks :D I think so too.
DeleteYou poor dear! Texas must be brutally warm.
Awww love the pics! Glad that Baby is taking after her momma and reading those books. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks :) Me too!
Deletesimply gorgeous Baby Whimsy!
ReplyDeleteThank you sweetie! :)
DeleteBaby Whimsy is just too darn cute! Thanks so much for sharing, my uterus just did a flip-flop.
ReplyDeleteLOL

What an awesome thing to say.
I'm still smiling.
