Well Said! Succubus Blues

Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead

“We all have moments of weakness.
It’s how we recover from them that really counts.”

“Love is rarely flawless,” Carter pointed out.
“Humans delude themselves by thinking it has to be.
It is the imperfection that makes love perfect.”

  2. LOVE that second one Juju. I couldn't agree more. Perfection would be boring, give me the flaws any day:)

  6. I've read the first three books of Rachel Caine's Weather Warden series and I was disappointed. Avoided Rachel Caine since then. Maybe I ought to try her out again...

  9. The second quote reminds me of a quote from the Emma movie with Gwyneth Paltrow movie where Mr. Knightley says something along the lines of "perhaps it is our imperfections that make us perfect for one another." Not in Austen's book, but I love the quote all the same!
