Random Loveliness of the Week
The Real Fauxtographer (thank you Picture Me Reading for introducing me to her) debuted her latest YA book inspired photo this week: Shadow & Bone
Because I never tire of bookish weddings.
Snow day ideas.
Amazing marital advice.
I kinda love these toddler designed dishes.
So going to try this cheese grater utensil holder when we buy a home.
Try this scarf tie. I did and it's my new favorite way.

I love everything you have hunted down and gathered up for me to read! I would definitely like to see more of these posts where I can click and read what's new and cool. Love the scarf idea. I'm totally the scarf lady at work and now I'm going to try this new one tomorrow. Thanks JuJu.
ReplyDeleteYay! 'Cause I LOVE doing them.

DeleteMmm... sounds interesting...
ReplyDeleteI just saw The Real Fauxtographer post this past weekend- love it! I also bookmarked the scarf tie b/c I am always looking for a new way to tie my scarves. I have always wondered how on earth they tie them like that! Thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteYay! So glad :)
DeleteOh gosh, I'm going to be visiting these links for awhile! Thanks for the great bookish links!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the marital advice! So true (not that I'm married or engaged, at all, but still great life lessons).
ReplyDeleteThe cheese grater thing just downright gives me the heebee geebees. But I'm mentally allergic to anything that can grate or peel the skin or nails... I'm getting chills just thinking about it!
LOL Awwww
DeleteGreat post!
ReplyDeleteThe last one - the scarf knot, I sent that to my daughter (she is the queen of scarves).
But I love that blog! I just took about 30 min. looking through a lot of her ideas! I ended up saving it to my favs.
Oh me too! I heart them soo.

ReplyDelete-For whatever reason, I love the idea of vintage, but I feel overwhelmed in the vintage stores.
-LOVED the bookish wedding photos - I have a friend who is a librarian and her save the date was those old-fashioned library cards with stamps of their important dates. SUPER-CUTE :)
-I just recently learned that particular scarf tying! It IS pretty nifty :)
Really? How funny. I wonder why?
DeleteOMG she did that? That is too cool. I've seen that on Pinterest and LOVED it.
I've seen the scarf tie before when I met up with a friend for lunch. Lately, I was trying to remember how she did it, so thanks for the link!

DeleteI think you were the first one to introduce me to bookish weddings--after my last one got married. Way too much fun. I wish I had done something along those lines.
ReplyDeleteAw I feel so honored. :)

DeleteThanks for sharing these, Juju! I love the scarf tie!
ReplyDeleteThis made me squeal. :0) Thanks so much for linking to my bookish wedding post -- isn't Sarah INCREDIBLE?! And I love your other links, especially the Shadow and Bone photo (super awesome), Relevant's marriage article (sooo good, and I love that mag), and the scarf!!!
ReplyDelete:0)
Awww no prob! I love your posts so I'm sure it's not the last time you'll make my random loveliness lists. ;)
DeleteAwesome bookish weddings! When and if I get married, I want to something non-traditional. I don't even want a white gown. My skin is pretty much transparent (lol) so I don't look good in white. I usually have to match it with something. I've always wanted a pale pink or lavender wedding dress. Heck, check out this awesome white and red one: http://weheartit.com/entry/44057477 Not sure about the gloves though. Have you heard of WeHeartIt? It seems like Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteFab way to tie the scarf! Love scarves too. I want a circle scarf!
I feel ya! And there is nothing wrong with another color! ;)
DeleteOMG that dress is stunning!
Wow. Wow.
But yah without the gloves.
I do love WeHeartIt.
I'm not on there but I do occasionally jump over there to see pretty pictures.
What a terrific round up of lovliness. The toddler designed dishes are my fave :)
ReplyDeleteAren't they fun? :)
