Whimsy Update: Confessing & Simplifying
Confession time girls. Pull in a little closer, will ya? I am a little tired of talking about only books. I know, right? Maybe it's the cold weather, hibernating, or new year but I have been doing some soul searching and while I love my blog and love books, it's time. Time to get more real and creative. I don't know what is coming down the pike but I do know I am going to let it flow. I hope you'll stay. I heart you gals. 2013 is turning out to be my year of simplifying and taking things to the next level both on and off-line. Hence the new cleaner look and construction notice earlier this week. I'm excited. This just feels right. Oh before you go, check out my updated About section.
I am redoing my personal blog for that reason :) I want to talk about my life in general. I thought about combining the two but I think my personal blog will be a little less known :)

I love the blog's new look and can't wait to see what changes you are up to. And to be honest, I have stopped reading most book-related posts and blogs because I just don't have the time and I can't let myself be tempted by more books when I need to get through the ones I already have AND I have school work to do. I recently unsubscribed from so many blogs because I just wasn't getting to them. Yours, obviously, wasn't one of the many and I am SO happy that you're going to branch out in your blogging. I shall move you from my Book Blog folder in my reader to another more suitable one for you. xoxoxo

Oh I'm so excited! Honestly, I completely understand. One part of me ventures to my blog to talk about books and the other to connect with my friends. I find myself wanting to confide things...that do not have to do with books. Ahhh...this is going to be fun :)

I hear you! Exactly how I felt about my older blog, MUSING IN RED. Sigh..I kinda miss it at times, but not entirely. I like Parasol Dreams better and the fact that I split it in two so I could have one blog exclusively for bookish things. lol But looking forward to your new stuff!! :)
