Happy Lunar New Year! We celebrated with these red paper lanterns, a big Chinese dinner, and mochi ice cream. Plus, I didn't sweep. That one was hard. It was fun and I look forward to incorporating new elements and traditions next year. How was your weekend?

DeleteI love that link about floral waters! We use witch hazel for everything: cuts, bruises, sensitive, skin, my dog's skin since he is a Chihuahua and has pretty sensitive skin. My mom uses it for her eczema. But I had no idea it had anti-aging properties. Gonna check that out.
ReplyDeleteBarbie is crazy. lol And on the topic of healing stuff, green tea is now my savior when it comes to my sinuses.
Right on! I use witch hazel as a skin astringent too but I had no idea all the other things I could use it for.
DeleteYou take green tea for your sinuses? Tell me more! :)
I love your Random Lovliness of the week. I will need to remind myself to check back every week and see what you are up to!
ReplyDeleteYayyyy! I love hearing that.

ReplyDeleteRight? Lucky duck ;)
DeleteMy mom has been trying to find good info about floral healing and remedies. I just showed her the page and she told me to say a big old 'Thank you!'
ReplyDeleteI am completely in love with those measuring cups! I love that there's the splash of color on the insides!
I did hear about Barbie's new house being in the works, I'm curious to see it! :)

:)
Fun, fun! It's a big celebration in Korea, too. It's called Seollal. Gosh, I should have made a post about it!
ReplyDeleteHave you seen Tangled? I know it's not set in Asia, but hearing about paper lanterns always makes me think about the scene in the movie with the lanterns. I want to try Mochi ice cream! But I'm allergic to dairy :( Have you tried Rice Bean Cakes? They are sooo yummy and totally addicting.
Oooo I did not know that.
DeleteOh yes! I LOVE that scene in Tangled. *le sigh* I would love to see something like that in person.
I'm lactose intolerant but went for it anyway. ;)
Rice Bean Cakes? I have not! Are they scrumptious? Do you recommend a certain flavor?
