*swoon* I love this store! There's one some-what near my house and I totally agree, every time I to it definitely leaves me feeling inspired. Just the whole atmosphere and creative and just happy! Awesome posts and pictures Juju! You really captured the store wonderfully! :)
I agree! We don't have one in my state, so the only time I ever get to pop into one is when I'm in Boston. Of course, then I want to buy one of everything ;)
I feel that way about pottery barn ~ i've never made it into an anthropologie but hopefully will one day! Looks amazing ~ I especially love the chairs and the buffet with all the cookbooks
Never been there, but the last shot entranced me entirely. I want to find cute cut outs like those and post them on my walls!! Wherever would you buy something like that? So cute!! :D
I haven't been in this store in awhile, but I always loved it in there! I bought a few things online a few years ago- love their stuff, but going to the store is definitely an experience! Did you get anything good?
Unfortunately, we haven't got Anthropologie in France! There are some stores in England though, I'll have to check them out next time I'm in London. I LOVE your pictures!
Yes you must! You'll fall in love :) Oh and please take pictures. I hear each store is different and unique and I can't wait to see London's through your eyes.
ohmygosh, i would LOVE to live in an anthropologie store. truth be told, if there was one in my neighborhood i would work there for peanuts just to BE THERE ALL THE TIME.
BTW, i have those robins egg blue latte bowls and i use them for cereal every morning; best cheapish thing i ever bought there.
i also recently got a really sweet grapfruit/bird sugar bowl that comes with a tiny little sugar spoon. adorable!
I haven't ever been in one of their stores. But several of my friends have been singing Anthropologie's praises for a long time. Now I can see why! It certainly has a quaint charm about it. Thanks for the virtual tour! I really like the blanket and throw corner. And the chairs with the writing on them. And the little spots of yellow I could pick out, as my eyes always seem to notice those first. And all the lovely books. And, and, and. It seems I could probably move in too! ;p
Oh, it is lovely! I haven't ever been to Anthropologie before, but it looks like it could be a fun place to wander in for awhile. I love that chair with the writing!
I have never been inside one though I did look through the window once and assumed I could never afford anything in there! But I so agree....I want to live there too! I think that we have very similir home aesthetics...or at least would if money were no object! lol
Gorgeous pics!! I am right there with you—every time I go in that store I want to hide out in the dressing room until closing time, Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler style, then come out and try on ALL the dresses and dance around serving tea in fancy cups. *sigh* Maybe someday....
You know, I've never actually been in Anthropologie. I've just sort of lingered on the outside, gazed at the window displays. It's so expensive! But pretty, very pretty. There's no point tempting myself though because I can't afford the stuff!
I haven't been in one yet, but should be soon. We're getting one sometime this year!!!
ReplyDeleteOoo you're in for a treat.
DeleteI envy that you have an Anthropologie where you are. All I can do is drool when I see their website or their emails to me :P

DeleteI have never been! I window shop online, but I don't think there's one by me. I would live there though. Everything is so pretty and soft.

DeleteI haven't been in one yet but I know there's one near my town...it looks very pretty :D
ReplyDeleteOh you must check it out :)
DeleteDo they have beds? I'm not moving in if there is no bed. I'll visit, but I won't move in.
ReplyDeleteMy store has two beds ;)

ReplyDeleteI haven't been to a Pottery Barn in ages. I must go.
DeleteThe buffet with all the white dishes and jars is my favorite too. ;)
Wow I have never been but wow I love everything including the chairs!
ReplyDeleteRight? I'm in love. I want them at my desk. If nothing else, they have me contemplating recovering some chairs.
DeleteI love Anthropology! Every time I go in...I get a little something or other!
ReplyDeleteYes! Just to take a piece of the loveliness with you.
DeleteI've never been but the pictures are lovely.

Ooooooh! I can definitely see why you want to move in there! I've never been to one. I'll have to check it out! :)

I looked up the sugar bowl. Precious!!! :)

ReplyDeleteIt certainly does.
DeleteNo prob. ;)
Yes! I love it all. The linens, soaps, decor, hair pins, perfume, knobs...
;)
Oh, it is lovely! I haven't ever been to Anthropologie before, but it looks like it could be a fun place to wander in for awhile. I love that chair with the writing!
ReplyDeleteIt is. All the little details. I'm in love with that chair too!
DeleteI want to live in Anthropologie too! Wish I could afford them. Haha.
ReplyDeleteAmen sista! I hear ya. ;)
DeleteOh, I want to move in, too!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I have never been in that store but it looks really dangerous. :)
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is ;)

ReplyDeleteWell if the opportunity ever arises again, you must pop in.
DeletePerhaps so! I am always drooling over your pretty bedspread. ;)
As a non-American, I had no idea what Anthropologie is until I saw all the Anthro-knock off crafts on Pinterest :) The measuring cups are so cute!
ReplyDeleteThere's knocks offs? I'm so off to search that. ;)
DeleteWow...the photos spoke MORE than a thousand words. No wonder you want to move in! *grabs bag...starts packing*
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI thought so too.
The more the merrier.
I'm moving in with you! :P
ReplyDeleteCan you believe I've never been to one of these before?
DeleteDeal :)
DeleteLast month was my first time too :)
Such gorgeousness. I would absolutely move in there too, and then have my books delivered right there.
ReplyDeleteYes! Oh and they have darling books too. Mostly decor and cooking but definitely enough to keep me busy for awhile.
DeleteGorgeous pics!! I am right there with you—every time I go in that store I want to hide out in the dressing room until closing time, Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler style, then come out and try on ALL the dresses and dance around serving tea in fancy cups. *sigh* Maybe someday....
ReplyDeleteYes! Try on all the clothes, perfume, hair barrettes, and have imaginary dinner parties.
DeletePS OMG you just reminded me I need that book.

ReplyDeleteIt is. But it's also really creative. I came out with all kinds of ideas for my house. :)
DeleteYou should pop in and stick to the clearance section.
So lovely! I need more photo essays from you :)
ReplyDeleteK :)
DeleteI HAVE THE VINTAGE TEA PARTY BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just thought you might want to know. And yes I bought it at Anthro :)
ReplyDeleteWhat? Tell me more! Is it as fabulous as it appears?
