Come on Get Happy! 1 Winner and 1 Question

Oh Melissa of Julia's Bookbag...(Adorable blog by the way ladies!) get happy sugar 'cause you just won my French Treat Contest. Congratulations! I can't wait to send you Carla Bruni's CD. I will be contacting you via email for your info. Thanks to all of you gals for entering. The winner was selected with help from Random.org.

So while we're talking about happiness, is there anything new that's making you happy these days? Perhaps you're excited about fall? Or maybe you found a great low-cal recipe? Or was it a great blouse you got on sale? Or it's possible that you're totally in love with your new haircut? O.K. those were all my answers but you get the idea. What (big or small) is making your heart sing these days?

  6. I'm excited by Fall, by that's usual. Otherwise I've been so focused on work, that many things have gone by the wayside. I have been reading some pretty good books though. Several surprised me as well. That's always a good thing.

How's the new house? Hope everything is going well and you and the Whimsy family are enjoying the holiday :)

Thanks for asking. We move in in a few weeks. Mr. Whimsy is over at the new house right now as I type this. He's painting and removing old carpet from the basement.

    2. Excellent! Even better that it will be pretty much put together before you move in.

  11. I've got several things that are making me happy - one of them is that I'm going to Ireland in less than 3 weeks with my girlfriends - we're going to drink lots of Guinness and see the sights and listen to a lot of lovely accents! Can't wait for that.

Then again, it's nice to appreciate the little things: I saw a few beautiful deer while walking just off-campus the other day! So that made me gleeful, at least for a little bit.

It's much bigger than my old one, and the neighborhood is much nicer than where I lived in my old city. Some of that is luck for sure, so I'm feeling very blessed right now! :-)
