These photos are stunning!Lauren,http://www.atouchofsoutherngrace.com/
Thank you. :)
I'm so happy to see that spring has reached your home as well! And those flowers are beautiful :)I don't have a favorite spring bloom but I'm partial to anything that's blue or purple <3
Yes. I do love blue and purple. We have these little wild purple violets growing in our yard. They're sooo sweet.
Lilac and then forsythia.
Yes and yeeessss!I'm from Florida and I don't remember forsythia down there but we have some here and I LOVE them. And they grow super easy I hear from a cutting. I SOOOOO want to plant a bunch more.
What lovely blooms to welcome you to the spring season in your new home! Cherry blossoms are my favorites! With the extra cold winter we had, everything has been late to bloom this year in NYC.Rowena @ rolala loves
You just can't go wrong with the beautiful cherry blossom. I hear ya. Winter's been so mean this year.
Beautiful pictures! The Bradford pears are blooming in full force here. I saw beautiful cherry trees, weeping crabapples, and even magnolias at the botanical gardens this weekend. They were all gorgeous!
Yes here too. (Bradford pears) We have two beautiful ones in our front yard. They smell bad but they're soooo lovely. The smell reminds me of fish but I'm getting use to it.Ooooo I want a weeping crabapple.I was just telling Charlotte, I loooooove magnolias. I secretly want to name a girl Magnolia. Like in Hart of Dixie.I loved your pictures from the garden btw.
These are absolutely gorgeous!!
How gorgeous, Juju - thanks for sharing these... and if I never said it, CONGRATS on your move. Betting that was exciting. My favorite spring blooms are probably tulips (have some on my kitchen table now!) or apple blossoms... although there is another one I heart too... unfortunately I cannot remember its name. ;)
Thank you. It really was. A whole new adventure and world for us first time homebuyers.I love tulips!Come back and tell me if you remember. :)
Gorgeous photos, Juju! I love magnolias and cherry blossoms. :)
Magnolias. I love magnolias.
Beautiful flowers! Thanks so much for sharing them. On a day like today when we are anticipating snow (after a weekend where it hit the 80s), I could really use a reminder that it is actually spring :)I love flowering trees, especially cherry blossoms and dogwood. I live in an apartment so I only get to enjoy the scenery when I am driving or if I visit my parents who live in the country and have lots of flowers since they love to garden. I am not a flower person (I can identify roses, tulips, and daffodils but that is about it!) but I love all the color that is usually around at this time of year.
Yes. We just got some snow last night. Makes me sad. I'm interested to see what happens to all the lovely blooms.I think I need some dogwoods. They grow great here and I love them.
I love these blooms! The first picture looks similar to the tree that is blooming in our backyard…so nice to see some color around here! (I just wish the warm weather would stay!) My favorite spring bloom are tulips and dogwood. I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather!
I was just telling Christina T. that I think I want to plant some dogwoods. I just love those.Yes ma'am. Every single time it's warm, we're outside. My skin has a healthy glow to prove it. :)
Oh isn't that lovely! I am so glad spring is here!We don't really have any blossoms here yet, but soon.We do have daffodil leaves comin up.
Daffodils are awesome. Yay!
Beautiful! I just love when the first flowers burst through after the snow melts. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for popping by. :)
So beautiful!! These made me happy, especially since the weather isn't cooperating where I live right now. :)
I hear that. We woke up to snow this morning. Crazy talk I tell you. I hope the flowers survive.
I think that it is so exciting when everything begins to pop! I love seeing the daffodils...they truly do sing Spring!
They are. They're like spring's ambassadors or horn players. Arriving early to announce spring to us all.
I really need to take out my nice camera. Your flowers photos are putting mine to shame. lolWhat is that bottom tree? A Dogwood?
So pretty!! One of my favorites around here is our daffodils. One day I came home from an appointment to discover my "sweet" boys had picked each and every one of them(just the flower part), and placed them in a bowl. ;P
Oh no! Well they meant well. :)
I just love spring--it is so happy. Thanks for sharing some happiness today.
My pleasure. :)
Yay! Spring is finally here! Beautiful photos! :D
Thank you. :)
So so pretty, I would take any blooms at the moment. Everything is so dry here.
:( Where do you live?
I swear my trees sprung up over night. I think it is so pretty this time of year (ask me in a month when I am tired of mowing and it will be a different story) LOL
Don't you love when they do that?I hear that (on mowing). Thankfully my hubs does the mowing. ;)
Isn't this a lovely time of year! I love looking at all the flowers. For me, it's all the lovely azaleas and lilies!http://www.averysweetblog.com/
Oooo azaleas! :)
Oooh I'm jealous. It's snowing here (I'm off to cry and dream of spring).
Booooo *hug*Winter has been such a bully this year.
Lovely! Are these from your yard? If you moved in during the Fall, I bet you didn't even know how beautiful they'd be in the Spring!
Yes. These are from our front and back yard and yes exactly it's all brand new. Like we're discovering a part of our home we didn't even know about. :)
Pretty flowers! Love this time of year :)
Me too. :)
We have been staring at the flowers here as well. They look so gorgeous and colorful!
It's amazing what it does for the soul isn't it?
oh so very pretty.
Happy spring! :)
You too sugar!
Beautiful flowers. I like so many flowers, it's hard to pick a favorite. Freesia smells lovely. And the honeysuckle plant outside my back door is starting to bloom. The little bumble bees love to visit it.
Ooooooooo freesia. Does honeysuckle smell as amazing as I imagine it does? :)
So pretty! I'm still waiting for spring to come :)
Silly aggressive winter. I hope it gets to you soon.
Ah, beautiful spring flowers! My favorite bloom is of course, the cherry blossom! I just love it when the wind carries the petals across the street :)
Yes! Me too. It has a magical quality to it.
What lovely photos! Tulips are my personal favorites, though those fat, intensely pink cherry blossoms are a close second.
Thank you.I do love tulips too.
Spring is amazing! Your photos are so warm and cute! Love to them!
Thank you and thank you for coming by. :)
So gorgeous!! Spring is such a magical time of year. My favorite blossoms are the Bradford Pear blossoms in late February/early March (here) but we don't have many flowering trees in our area. In May the Crepe Myrtles will start blooming through the end of the summer and I adore those trees!
We have those. Those are cool. I looove crepe myrtles.
Just beautiful! I am looking at the tulips all week at the market and am going to have to bring some home in the next day or so!xo Mary Jo
Yes! Definitely. What color?
Beautiful bits of color you have there :) My favorite bloom still is a sunflower. There's something so wonderful about their bulky stalks and delicate petals.
Ooo sunflowers. I like them. I grew them once and they grew SO tall and steady. It was impressive. The way they turn to the sun is something I will never forget and admire about them.
Oh, these are gorgeous... Can't wait to spring to arrive here in Rio... (a few months away).http://naomemandeflores.com/en
Rio? Wow. Sounds gorgeous. I hope spring hurries for you. :) Thanks for coming by.
What lovely photos! I need to plant some more flowers in my yard! It's too plain!
You should. Most of ours are flowering trees or shrubs. I love them even more than annuals.
Well... Hydrangea! But since I live in the middle of the desert, roses! They are so dependable. :) I hope you and all your Whimsies have a blessed Easter! :) ~Liz
Oooooooooooo I have a special place in my heart for hydrangeas. Roses do good in the desert? I had no idea.Thank you sugar. I hope you had a gorgeous Easter too.
gorgeous photos! i'm enjoying all of the azaleas blooming around our apartment complex. . .and dogwood?!? oh my, the dogwoods are phenomenal!
Dogwoods are awesome. We're totally going to plant one later this year.
Wow these are beautiful pictures! I'm in awe of your photography skills as usual! :-) Such lovely colors! Glad you're enjoying spring!
Awwww *hug* thank you!
Oh, gorgeous! I always love to see the small rosebush in my background bloom - although the poor thing seems to have given up this year.
Oh poor dear. It has been a rough year. Give her some more time.
Just gorgeous. Cherry blossoms are one of my favourite Spring blooms. That and magnolias
Oooo I do love magnolias.
Beautiful photos! I'd have to say that I love when the cherry blossoms begin to bloom.
They are so charming. :)
peonies are my favorite spring bloom :)
I adore peonies. Especially when they're semi shut.
